ATLANTA -- It's a great weekend to get out of the house before the weather turns too cold and there's plenty to do inside and out if you do get out.
Military Appreciation Week kicks off Saturday by offering discounts or free admission to military personnel and their families just by showing a Military ID at several attractions including the Georgia Aquarium, Imagine It! The Children's Museum of Atlanta, the National Museum of Patriotism, and the World of Coke. Also stop by Pemberton Place in between the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coke for a feature demonstrations with military personnel and equipment.
The Veterans Day Parade steps off at 11:11 a.m. on Saturday and winds its way through Downtown Atlanta.
Cabbagetown will honor its past Saturday starting at 10 a.m. with a Chili Cook Off.
The Stone Mountain Indian Festival and Pow-Wow continues through Sunday.
Cavalia continues its run through Thanksgiving at Atlantic Station.
Fulton County residents can visit the High Museum of Art for free Saturday with valid ID.
The Decatur Wine Festival is Saturday afternoon in the Old Courthouse Square.
The Cotton States Cat Club 71st Annual Show is Saturday at the Gwinnett Convention Center.
43rd Annual Monticello-Jasper County Deer Festival happens Saturday in Downtown Monticello.
The Gwinnett County Fairground host the Ham Radio Festival Saturday and Sunday.
